The DVSH operates under the direction of Mr. Hector Barajas, a veteran who served in the 82nd Airborne Division. Mr. Barajas himself was deported back in 2004. The house operates as a shelter and resource center for veterans who need assistance, as well as office for their political advocacy efforts in the realm of immigration reform. DVSH aims to raise awareness about deported veterans through social media, public outreach, and community events.
Since 1996, the US government has been deporting veterans who, as legalized citizens joined the US Armed Forces and served their country proudly. The deported veterans support house has come into contact with over 100 veterans who have been deported, or being deported to over 30 countries of origin due to criminal conviction. All had legal residency status, VA benefits entitlement. Many have lived most of their lives in the US and have been forced to leave behind their spouses, children, parents, and siblings.
Fisher House Foundation is best known for a network of comfort homes where military and veteran's families can stay at no cost while a loved one is receiving treatment. These homes are located at major military and VA medical centers nationwide, close to the medical center or hospital it serves. Fisher House have up to 21 suites, with private bedrooms and baths. Families share a common kitchen, laundry facilities, a warm dining room and an inviting living room. Fisher House Foundation ensures that there is never a lodging fee. Since inception, the program has saved military and veterans' families an estimated $282 million in out of pocket for lodging and transportation. Fisher House Foundation, Inc is a not-for-profit organization under section 501(c)(3) of the IRS code. Donations are tax deductible to the maximum extent allowed by law.

Mission: Committed to demonstrating appreciation for the brave service of the men and women of the US Military, Talk2Troops gives everyone around the world the opportunity to write a letter to either an Active Duty Soldier, New Recruit, Wounded Warrior, or Veteran. You can send as many letters as you want and it is always free. From there Talk2Troops prints out your letter, screen them and send them to troops around the world in partnership with "Operation Gratitude". After receiving your letter, troops can then respond to your email address and you can sustain a friendship.
Meet the Team: High-school junior, Ryan Bellissimo, envisioned Talk2Troop while sitting in his dorm room, and with technical skills from classmate Parker Thomas, the project was born. The project has grown rapidly, and today hundreds of letters are sent to aid troops across the world.

Veterans Housing – M.O.S.T is a diveresed team of civilian and veterans with a common cause in helping the veteran community, we are dedicated in development and building Gated communities across the country. Every community will have a common goal with housing our disabled, families of the fallen (Gold Star), as well as families that have a current member serving (Blue Star). It will open its gates to tackle the homeless Veterans in providing a permanent housing program through the Workforce program as well.
